Here at La Grange FUMC we offer many different ministry opportunities for all ages and interests.
We want to help you KNOW, SHOW and GROW in Christ. Take some time to explore the many different ministries that will help your faith grow in service to others. We encourage you to look at the different ministry groups and what they are doing. We also encourage you to check out the What we’ve been up to section to see what activities our church has been up to lately.
Please explore our different ministry areas:
Kid's and Youth Ministry
Whether it's Sunday mornings in the nursery, Wednesday's after school with K-Motion, a hot summer day at Vacation Bible School, food and games with the youth group, or special youth events, we have just the program to fit your son or daughter's needs!
Volunteering and Outreach
Volunteering can sound overwhelming. Luckily, we have varying degrees of volunteering. Have a passion for working with children? Or maybe you love serving others by serving Bar-B-Q with the Methodist Men. Do you think helping out our community at Second Chance Emporium sounds like a blast? Does the idea of reaching out community with our Serving With A Tool (S.W.A.T.) program excited you? Perhaps a week-long mission trip is more your style. Whatever the case may be, we would be more than happy to have you on board in one of our outreach programs!
Looking to make a joyful noise in one of our services? Here at FUMC La Grange we firmly believe God has given us talents of all sorts! Whether you're interested in singing with the choir in our Traditional Service, playing handbells with the GloryTones, or finding out more about our New Life Service praise band LifeSong, click the button below to learn more!
Are you looking for a Sunday School Class for your little one? Or maybe you are trying to find the perfect Sunday School group for you. Whatever the case may be, find out more about our Sunday School options here!
From United Methodist Men, United Methodist Women, to Sages & Saints, we have just the programs you are looking for to grow in your faith and fellowship with others. Find out more about how you can connect with members of our church outside of the regular Sunday schedule!
As Christians, we are called to care for those in need. We are also invited to experience the love of Christ through the care of others.
Everyone experiences loss, hardship or loneliness at some point in life. Together, we can experience God’s presence in the midst of difficult times.
Our congregational care ranges from Pastor's Bible Study, Stephen Ministry, Prayer Chain, our Family Resource Center, and even our Monthly Healing Service.
