While it would be wonderful if we could reach out personally to everyone who needs our help, we know that is impossible. So we gather regularly with our congregation and put money into the offering plate. The power of our collective giving enables us to spread the love of Jesus Christ through Worship, Adult Ministries, Youth and Children Ministries, Music and Missions.
2009 Narrative Budget
We, members of First United Methodist Church of La Grange, are individuals being shaped by God into a welcoming community of faith striving together to seek, nurture, support, teach and serve all people in the name of Christ.
Through this document we will reveal how we achieve this mission by describing the work and costs of the church through five encompassing categories: Worship, Music, Adult Ministries, Children and Youth ministries, and Missions & Outreach.
In order to fund the working of the church in these areas, the church body adopted a working budget of $434,130 for the 2009 year.
It is through the support of your prayers, presence, gifts and services that we are able to achieve the many wonders of our church. Without your support we would not be able to continue to grow in the love and grace of Christ.
